NEW COURSE FOR MANAGERS
We are pleased to announce that we have a new course called The Assessment of Need. This is a two day course and managers must attend both dates.
This course gives you the knowledge and skills to carry out assessments which are thorough and well formulated to support staff and service users. You will also learn the FREDA principles which will help you to understand the core values of the human rights act when conducting assessment of needs.

This course will take place at Mansion House in Stockport on the 28th and 29th February 2024, 9:30am-4:00pm.

INVESTORS IN PEOPLE
Thank you to everyone who took part in the Investors in People survey. The region with the highest percentage of survey respondents was the North East.

OLIVER MCGOWAN COURSE
We are pleased to announce that we have added new dates for the classroom based Tier 2 Oliver McGowan Course until March 2024.

NEW MANAGERS/ SENIOR STAFF MEMBERS
We are pleased to announce that the Introductory Modules for Managers course are now available. This training is available through the Skills for Care website. When enrolling, please make sure you read all the information on your Creative Academy account and follow the instructions provided to access the course.
This course consists of 11 modules. Once all 11 modules have been completed and all certificates uploaded to your Creative Academy account, you will be eligible to receive a £50 Love2Shop voucher!
