Management and Prevention of Falls

What the course covers:

• Guidance to staff in relation to the safe management of a service user that has fallen
• Risks and prevention strategies to reduce the number of falls
• Processes for effective assessment
• Appropriate management and support for those who have fallen, or those who are at risk of falling
• Health, safety and wellbeing in relation to falls
• Compliance with current legislation/reporting requirements

How this course can be completed:

• Classroom: this course can be completed as a half-day course in a classroom environment, which lasts approximately 1.5 learning hours.
• Webinar: this course can be completed as a webinar that lasts approximately 2 learning hours.
