What the course covers:

  • Recognising and preventing psychosis
  • Early intervention for a first episode of psychosis
  • Treating and referring people with an acute episode of psychosis or schizophrenia
  • Promoting recovery and long-term care
  • Preventing and treating physical health problems and continuing to check for physical health problems
  • Support for carers

How this course can be completed:

  • Classroom: this course can be completed as a half-day course in a classroom environment, which lasts approximately 2.5 learning hours.
  • Webinar: this course can be completed as a webinar that lasts approximately 2 learning hours.
